Meet Our Founder

Our founder, Hardy Cash, brings more than 25 years of hands-on industry experience spanning enterprise IT and dental technology. He began his career at AOL’s CC1 building in Dulles, Virginia, where he trained in networking and earned his Microsoft MCSE certification before transitioning into healthcare IT.

In 2000, Hardy entered dental IT, supporting Eaglesoft systems through a firm serving the Patterson Dental DC region. He was selected by Patterson Dental to attend the first-ever Eaglesoft hardware certification and later supported the deployment of one of the first digital panoramic imaging systems on the East Coast. He went on to work with the DC-area Dentrix reseller before joining Neibauer Dental Care, a longtime client, providing IT support from its first office through expansion to 25 locations across Virginia and Maryland.

Working inside a fast-growing dental organization gave Hardy a rare operator’s perspective—supporting clinicians directly while operating at scale. After Neibauer Dental Care was acquired by Heartland and following additional experience supporting Carestream systems, Hardy founded HC Dental IT to deliver efficient, high-standard IT services built on real-world operational experience.
